As we all know that the Delhi Master Plan is a mega urbanization project and an infrastructural endeavor as big as this has never been carried in India before. The project will transform Delhi NCR into a Smart City which is capable of performing all top notch functions similar to the cities in developed countries like US, UAE, Australia, etc.

Citizens all across the nation are thrilled about the Smart City as it will redefine luxurious living and such luxury will be ‘affordable’ for the first time in the country. People from all income groups will be able to find space in the Smart City which will provide accommodation to a huge number of people by building nearly 25 lakhs smart homes.

Delhi height’s Royal Homes in Dwarka is one such mega projects that have been offering dwelling units as according to MPD2021.

Master Plan Delhi 2021 Has Measures to Root out the Water Shortage

Summers are approaching and the scorching heat of Delhi is quite obviously going to be intolerable and exhausting. Like every year, there will be scarcity of water and people will begin to sweat in January itself, thinking about the inconvenience.

Delhi has been facing water supply problem for a long time now and in fact, Delhi Jal Board (DJB) is responsible for water supply management hasn’t been able to arrange proper water distribution for its citizens. Poor water management and broken pipelines cause tons of water to get wasted. This leads to water shortage and people have to rely on water tankers for regular supply.

Contrary to the present scenario, the future is being seen as bright and promising with the land pooling policy projects in Delhi which considers all water shortage and management problems in its planning and has decided to incorporate world class ideas so that the residents of the Smart City will not have to live without water even for an hour. The Smart City plan contains residential projects that will be built on land pooling policy norms and DDA will be the supervisor of the mega urbanization assignment.

Let us find out how water management will be facilitated in Master Plan residential projects:

1.    RAIN WATER HARVESTING
This method of recharge is highly effective and is practiced all around the world for sustainable development. The water that is collected from the terrace can easily be filtered as it contains no harmful bio-chemicals; it just has some dust or slit which is easy to clean.

2.    TREE PLANTATION
Planting trees is the most resourceful way through which we can replenish the ground water level. This method will help improve security and reliability of water supply and will maintain quality of water to usable levels.

3.    INFORMATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Activities will be organized on time and again to encourage residents to conserve water. They will be educated and taught several measures which can be adopted in their daily lives to save water substantially.

The housing apartments are going to be constructed with smart fittings that will not cause any water shortage and will keep the residents accountable and aware of their water consumption. Some of the features are:-

•    Water purification products and systems
•    Smart bathroom fittings and accessories
•    Water pollution monitoring systems
•    Pipes, pumps and motors
•    Analytical instruments

Delhi Master Plan’s L-Zone to get the Best Residential Projects ever Built in the Country

Dwarka is one of Asia’s largest residential neighborhoods and is also referred to as a sub-city. It is located on the district of South West of Delhi and is the fastest growing region of New Delhi in India. DDA has implemented the unique concept of Mixed Land Use (MLU) in Dwarka.  Popular L-zone of the Delhi Master Plan also lies on the outskirts of the suburban city.

L-zone properties under the plan are designed in a meticulous manner such that all essential needs of the residents are met in the best way possible. Apartments we live in today are often not fully equipped with every facility. Some or the other shortcoming always exists whether in terms of proximity to a police station, hospital, fire station or even a stationery shop, some things are always a left out or a forgotten factor.

Considering all the above facts, Delhi Government in its Master Plan 2021 has joined hands with private builders in order to provide the citizens which are the best.  Now the citizens will get what they have been waiting for so long i.e., an international standard lifestyle, foreign class adept amenities and an immensely merry living.

L Zone developers in their 2/3/4bhk apartments have incorporated all dimensions of human intelligence, collective intelligence and artificial intelligence within their residential projects. Take short notes of some of developers cognitive intelligent planning.

  •  Composition intelligence – The apartments will have establishments of institutions and community based problem solving collaborations.
  •  Empowerment intelligence – In order to cluster innovations, the residential projects will provide smart city infrastructure and open platforms for experimental facilities.
  • Instrumentation intelligence- A common IP infrastructure will be setup with wireless meters and device transmit information. A number of homes will be provided with smart energy meters to become aware of their energy consumption and reduce the usage.

Master Plan 2021 Offering a Space for Harmonious and Comfortable Living

Viewing the transformative potential of new technologies and changing demographics as the accelerator of augmentation and empowerment, the government is trying to translate them into economic and societal value to improve the standards of the cities in the coming years.

In this increasingly competitive global economy, the government has planned a dramatic shift with its infrastructural revolutionary project, the Master Plan Delhi 2021.

In addition to the improvements in efficiencies and supply of services, the Master Plan is enabling large scale transformation in the planning of residential projects. The complexities of the growing population will be reduced and masked by the forthcoming India’s first Smart City in Delhi NCR. Very different strategies relying exclusively on ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) are going to be used in all the zones divided in the 2021 Master Plan Delhi.

Concentrating on the largest zone in MPD 2021, let us see how various sections have been planned under Dwarka Master Plan for the mega urbanization.

1.      LOGISTICS & NETWORKING: Several software will be installed to help local planners and governing bodies tackle the complex challenges of urban freight transportation. Living will be enriched with a solid network of connectivity between humans and devices. This connectivity will enable better management and offer affluent application experiences.

2.      MEDICAL AND HEALTHCARE: The Smart City will be a global hub for medical services. The city will have quality healthcare services, highly skilled doctors and medical professionals and low cost treatments. This is said to boost up medical tourism and place India among the top three medical tourism destinations in Asia for its cost effective healthcare services.

3.      SECURITY AND SURVEILANCE: Revolutionizing technologies will be applied to ensure safety and security of the city and it will completely change how cities locate, mitigate and prevent safety issues. Maps and predictive analytics will help in building a strong surveillance system in and around the city and will safeguard residents living even without a human guard.

4.      TRANSPORTATION AND MOBILTY: Considering the adverse effect of present transportation methods on our environment, the government has resolutely planned to shit to an electricity based transportation system. Also, to prevent the depletion of fossil fuels and consequent increase in fuel costs. Intelligent traffic lighting systems and use of bio fuels will be also encouraged in the plan.

5.      INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCE CITY: A framework enabled for economic development and inclusive growth that contributes to sustainable development. The Master Plan 2021 will not only upgrade industries but also align education and labor market needs. The Smart City mission will be addressed in pursuit of green industrial policies to improve economic performances and also address broader challenges like climate change and other pressures on our natural resources and environment.
